2015 in Review

2015 was a fantastic year filled with lots of truly amazing experiences. Good things have been happening here in Tulsa and we’re looking forward to just as many memorable moments in 2016. Here are just a few of the highlights from our past year together. Enjoy!

RUNNING

We ran five races in 2015, two of which were half marathons, one of which was Peter’s first half marathon! The races included the Golden Driller Half Marathon, Fleet Feet Quarter Marathon, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K, Tulsa Run 15K, and Route 66 Half Marathon. 2015 was also the year when we delved into trail running at Turkey Mountain. Here are a variety of pictures from these events and other running excursions.

OUR NEW HOUSE

Buying a house was probably one of the biggest events of 2015!

10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

We decided to spend a couple of days in New Orleans to celebrate our 10th anniversary as a couple. Looking forward to years to come!

VISITS WITH FRIENDS & FAMILY

Living in Tulsa means lots of visits from friends and family members who are looking to find out what this funky place is all about. Trips back to Albuquerque are also always in order.

TULSA TOUGH

The Tulsa Tough was probably the most amazing spectacle we witnessed in 2015. You have to be there to really understand it, but here are a few photos that captured some of the experience, along with an article about Crybaby Hill(Click HERE).

SCOTFEST

This was the second year we’d been to Scotfest and we’ve decided that it’s our favorite festival in Tulsa (Center of the Universe and Oktoberfest were also fun festivals though). Lots of kilts, bagpipes, Highland games, and live music.

TULSA ROUGHNECKS SOCCER

2015 was the inaugural season for the Tulsa Roughnecks FC — our USL professional soccer team. We went to several games and every one of them was a blast. Great crowds and great energy. Looking forward to going to many more of these games in 2016.
